§ 03 The Canine MSK Ultrasound Course — Continuing Education

Learn the modality that quietly changed veterinary sports medicine.

§ 01 By the end of the course

Five capabilities that will quietly reshape how you practice.

01

Acquire diagnostic-quality images

Standardized probe positioning for shoulder, iliopsoas, stifle, tarsus, and carpus. No more "I can't find the structure."

02

Recognize tendon & ligament injury

Recognize normal tendinous and ligamentous patterns — and the disruption that signals injury — at clinically useful magnification.

03

Localize the lesion

Layer-by-layer evaluation strategies that turn vague lameness into a specific, anatomically localized diagnosis.

04

Qualify for remote reads

Complete the modules, homework, and the remote-read qualification — then submit live cases from your own practice to Dr. Canapp for a second-opinion read. A feedback loop most CE never offers.

05

Talk to clients with images

Sit down with the owner of an athlete and explain what you found — with the actual scan in hand.

§ 02 Curriculum

Six modules. Sequential. Personally graded.

Each module unlocks the next. Homework — your own imaging, submitted as video clips — is graded by Dr. Canapp directly. The "all inclusive" bundle is the most efficient path.

À la carte, the full curriculum — six modules plus graded homework — runs $10,750. Enroll all together and it's $7,975 — you save nearly $2,800.

§ 03 How it works

The first CE program where the instructor actually sees your work.

Step 01

Enroll

Pick a single module to test the waters, or the all-inclusive bundle.

Step 02

Lectures

Self-paced video lectures and demonstrations. Re-watch anytime.

Step 03

Practice

Image your own patients with guided protocols. Build a clip library.

Step 05

Unlock the next

Each completed module unlocks the next, in clinical order of difficulty.

Step 06

All pricing in USD. Course access runs for 12 months from enrollment; extensions are available in 3- or 6-month intervals. Homework grading and remote reads are bound by Dr. Canapp's clinical schedule — feedback is typically returned within 14 days.

§ 05 Access & extensions

Twelve months of course access. Extend if life happens.

Every enrollment includes 12 months of full access to lectures, video labs, anatomy reference plates, and homework submission. If you need more time, course access can be extended in 3- or 6-month intervals.

Extensions are stackable and can be added at any point during your access window, including immediately before expiration. Homework grading and remote-read submissions during the extended period are billed per the original enrollment terms.

§ 06 Questions

The honest answers.

Yes. The entire course is online and self-paced — module access runs for 12 months from enrollment, lessons can be re-watched as many times as you like during that window, and homework is submitted on your schedule. If you need more time, access can be extended in 3- or 6-month intervals.

For lectures, no. For homework submission, yes — you'll need access to a linear probe machine. We can help you spec a unit if you're evaluating a purchase.

Each module has imaging assignments. You record your scans (DICOM clips or video), upload them through the platform, and Dr. Canapp personally reviews each submission — both your technique and your image interpretation.

After successfully completing a region's module and homework — and passing the remote-read qualification — you unlock the ability to submit live clinical cases from your own practice for Dr. Canapp to review and report on. The qualification is required before any case can be submitted. It's second-opinion access, on demand.

Yes. The course is taken regularly by sports medicine residents, rehabilitation therapists, surgeons, and general practitioners alike. The pacing accommodates a wide range of starting points.

A limited number of in-person hands-on labs are offered annually at rotating regional venues. Course graduates are notified first when seats open.
